Carnegie Hall

Yes indeed. I have the opportunity of singing there with my college choir this coming June. So if I can scrape up the required funds for the group package payment I will be there. I still can't quite believe it myself ~ but I am very excited and praying for guidance.

This is my BIG news.

I am shocked and dismayed that anyone could be so lacking in their education as to not know where and what Carnegie Hall is!!!

Carnegie Hall is in New York it is THE concert hall in the USofA. Check out this link for it. It will put it into perspective for you.

You will probably have to use cut & paste.

Yes!! You are coming to my backyard - okay, I don't actually own it. . .but seriously, when in June? Can you stay here and cut down on expenses or do you need to stay with the group. Are the tickets on sale yet? Carnegie Hall is so amazing (I was there once for a really boring opera) - that is so awesome that you actually get to perform there. Oh, what is wrong with young people these days? They don't know "where or what" Carnegie Hall is?! Major lack of cultural education! We must remedy that - if they come out here, they shall see it for themselves. Of course, they could just wait for the photos, but you would have to speed up in the posting department. (Now isn't that the pot calling the kettle black!) Love you to pieces.

The performance I believe is June 19th. I do have to stay in 'their' hotel that is incl. with the package. The package apparently also incl. Some interesting things like I heard something about a ticket to the Empire State Building. Of course I have already been there so I'm not very impressed with that. Uncle Stan is considering going as well. He and Elizabeth also sing in the choir. And if they went A. Marion would also go which would make up a foursome for the maximum occupancy in a hotel room. (and the smallest price for the package) Pkg also incl some sort of celebration cruise same night after the performace. I don't have all the details ironed out yet but can I at least get some help with (when the time comes) finding a plane ticket (yah each of us has to take care of that ourselves) and getting a ride from the airport to the hotel?

I should probably just e-mail you! :)
