Kid's Choir at Cabrillo College

New song being taught.

TA to the kids: Does anyone know what a triplet is?

One of the kids: Does that mean you have to sing it three times?

Gotta love it!!! These kids can either drive you nuts or make you bust up laughing!

I have to agree with you. Children are the funniest little people sometimes.

But it makes sense, I mean when you write things in triplicate you do them over three times. My favorite is when they ask, do I HAVE to do this? And I say, no you can choose not to pass my class. It is your right to remain ignorant. But at this point you pass over the threshold from ignorance to stupidity, for when you have the chance to learn and do not take it, you are willfully rejecting knowledge. And that, my friend, is stupid. That's my high schoolers. Then I have sixth graders who talk to their bows and name their violas "Fido".

I wish I could say something like to some kids. But most of these are pretty young. The oldest in the choirs I help with might be 14. I'm not sure. They are most of the time a lot of fun! The triplet comment came from the littlest choir, oldest being about 7-8. Very adorable kids.
